Delta rockers Theory of a Deadman played the first of two shows at the Commodore Ballroom Friday, January 31st, coinciding with the release of their seventh full length album, titled Say Nothing. The album expands on the transition the band initiated on their previous body of work, Wake up Call in terms of subject matter and sonic experimentation.
TOAD, or Theory as they now like to be called, tackle issues like domestic violence, politics south of the border, and poverty on the new album. Gospel choirs and brass section add to the mix of already evolving sounds the band has been exploring with recently.
Theory’s hometown double-header marks the beginning of an extensive North American Tour in support of Say Nothing that will see them heading to eastern Canada before making their way down to Florida and back up to Colorado by mid May. Check out their website for more info!
